The Vice Chancellor of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), Professor Charles Igwe, has paid glowing tribute to Dr. Victor Chukwuemeka Nnam, the former Enugu State Commissioner for Lands and Urban Development. He was commended for his selfless service and pioneering contributions to the university community.
Following his resignation from public office, Dr. Nnam made a rare and admirable decision: he returned to the university as a volunteer senior lecturer in the Department of Geoinformatics and Surveying. Despite not receiving a salary, he chose to dedicate his time and expertise to teaching and mentoring students in the field of land administration.
In a commendation letter signed by the Vice Chancellor, Professor Igwe expressed deep appreciation for Dr. Nnam’s dedication, stating:
