Victor Nnam Honoured with NIS Fellowship
Governor Mbah Sends Congratulatory Message
Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State has congratulated Professor Victor Nnam on his elevation to the rank of Fellow of the Nigerian Institution of Surveyors (NIS). He described the honour as a proud moment for the entire state.
The commendation was shared in a letter signed by the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Victor Udeh, Esq. In addition, the letter was made available to journalists on Tuesday.
“On behalf of His Excellency, the Governor of Enugu State, I convey the warm congratulations of the government and people of Enugu State,” the letter read. “Your elevation to the rank of Fellow of the Nigerian Institution of Surveyors is truly commendable.”
A Testament to Professional Excellence
Governor Mbah praised Prof. Nnam’s dedication and professional record. Specifically, he noted that the NIS recognition marks a high point in a career filled with service to both the state and the country.
Furthermore, the governor acknowledged Prof. Nnam’s impact on land administration and spatial science in Nigeria. His contributions, he said, have left a lasting legacy in public service.
As a result, the honour is seen as both timely and well-deserved.

Professor Nnam is a respected academic and former commissioner. Moreover, he is a professor of Geoinformatics and Surveying, with decades of experience in land administration and spatial science.
